BAKOS MAKES FIRST TEAM
Roberto Bakos, a 9 year Minor League veteran, was named a First Team All Star for 2008. The former
Miles College standout was selected to his third straight All Star team after a 9.5 sack season. Rookie
Middle Linebacker Dante Yates also received a Honorable Mention nomination.
The pair will represent the Patriots as members of the Northern Conference All Star team in a North
versus South contest November 16. The All Star game is being held during the NAFL's Championship
weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. Morris Brown College's Herndon Stadium will host the game. Herndon
Stadium was also the host of 1996 Summer Olympics' Field Hockey events.
