The uncertainty over where they will play their first few home football
games this season has been cleared up for the semi-pro Genesee
County Patriots.

Forced to find a temporary home stadium while construction work takes
place at Clio High School and around Pride Stadium, the Patriots have
found a venue for their pre-season game and regular-season home
opener.

The Patriots don't have to move very far from home as their first two
games will take place at Guy Houston Stadium, the home of the Flint
Northwestern High School football team.

"We're glad that our fans don't have far to go to see us play," said
Patriots vice president Brad Lyons. "We're happy that we have a field to
play at that is not too far away until the construction is finished."

The first game scheduled for Guy Houston Stadium is the July 9 pre-
season game against the Detroit Downriver Diesels.

The Patriots open the regular season July 23 at Guy Houston Stadium
against the London Silverbacks.

The Patriots will return home to Pride Stadium on Aug. 27 for a game
against the Michigan Renegades.

The Patriots also have games scheduled for Sept. 7 against the Michigan
Admirals and Sept. 24 against the Hamilton Screaming Eagles at Pride
Stadium in Clio.
